A couple of weeks ago I bought a few things from boohoo.com including a pink backless maxi dress, an arm cuff and a toe ring (not pictured). I'd never ordered from them before so I was curious to see what the quality of the items were like since it was quite cheap.
While I was pretty happy with the general quality of the items, I personally think the fit of the dress was a bit off. I know there's always a danger of ill-fitting garments when you buy online, but usually a size 6 is a pretty good fit for me. This dress, however, I feel was quite big. I had to adjust the length of the elastic straps across the back and cut about 10 cm off the bottom to get it to fit me right. It only cost $28 and I actually really liked the style so I was willing to keep it and make the few alterations, but I'd be careful to make sure you check the sizing measurements if you want to buy something that fits tailored like this.
In saying that, I am glad I made the alterations because I love the colour and style. I think it's going to be great to throw over a white t-shirt/bandeau/bikini this summer for a more casual look (and really makes my pink hair pop!)
I styled it with some London Rebel gold sandals I recently purchased and the arm cuff I also got from boohoo.com and did an impromptu photoshoot in Teneriffe.
